roof a/c unit, cover or no cover

for yrs I have covered it in the winter, but I see many that are not covered. RV dealerships loaded with RV'S not covered. I am in my seventies and not real interested in additional work on the roof.

For Everyone I have looked at, no cover required. I have never used one. However I do close the ceiling vents in the winter.

Never covered unit or a/c over a 40 yr period and that was during Ohio winters. No problems ever.

I do cover my AC unit only... $17 on Amazon for a real nice quality cover..
Don’t know if it really helps, but I figure if it keeps snow from blowing in the side of the unit, it’s probably a good thing.
