Roof condition

Hello. I think I previously mentioned that we just purchased a 2018 Jayco Envoy.
I've watched many videos on roof maintenance but I still feel it's my weak point.
I kinda accessed the roof today and saw cracking in the self leveling caulk.
I'm adding a photo and ask your opinion on how to proceed.
Kinda poor quality but I was in bright sunlight

Get a roll of ETERNABOND and cover all the self leveling. You don't have to remove it, just clean it good and cover. Just don't stretch the ETERNABOND.

Sorry Grumpy, I know you're a big fan of Eternabond and I know it's a great product but I'd prefer not to.

Grumpy, I knew you'd be first off the mark with the Eternabond suggestion. I swear, this Spring I'm getting up on my roof and doing the entire thing; sides, front rear and all the edges of the cutouts. It's a 2022, was on the lot from early 2022 until this past fall.

I worked with the Eternabond when I rebuilt my pop-up camper's roof. I used it all along the new edges, under the side trim moldings and along the back and front edges as well. It was interesting to work with it, and I learned better how to handle it as I tackled each edge

Can I ask what your concerns are with Eternabond?

Your other option is to clean the affected area very well, and apply some additional self leveling lap sealant. As the tt ages, it will be something you'll need to do more and more frequently. After two years of dealing with cracking and bubbling sealant, I did the Eternabond thing, and have never touched my roof sealant. I still check it.

I don't know, just my preference. I actually have two rolls in my RV now. While I was still shopping for used units, if I saw a roof with yards of Eternabond I immediately thought they were covering some situation up. I think I feel it's a patch , not a permanent fix. Your experience obviously disproves that but it's still my opinion
