Running AC Fan Only

Our Greyhawk 29MV has two AC units ... one in the common living space and one in the bedroom.

Would there be any harm in running the bedroom fan setting only (no AC) nonstop through the night?

We find that the common living area AC sufficiently cools our entire RV but we'd like to run our bedroom fan only through the night for air circulation.

I did try to search before posting this. Appreciate any info you can share. Thanks!!!

I don't see why it would be an issue, not only do we do that occasionally in the trailer, but we also do that at home when you just want to circulate the air. It's just a fan.

Our rear a/c has run or just the fan has run every night and most days for 2 years. We like the white noise.

Never had any problems running either of my fans (main or BR) for extended periods of time. I can even run one of them when connected to a 15amp outlet at home.

Thank you all for replying. We really enjoy the white noise from the "ceiling" fan overnight without having to pack an additional device. Good to know we can do so with no harm to the AC unit. Thanks again!

We run ours all night also. I checked and with both units running fan only pulled 7amps combined.

We will run our fan all night often. It's not the noise we like (in fact, I don't like it), but it helps the trailer stay at a consistent temperature. If I leave the fan in "auto", it wakes me up every time it kicks on. With fan set to "on", I can't tell when the compressor kicks on.

DW's parents have been running theirs "on" for years and have not reported a problem.

Assuming you have enough power (It won't run on 12V alone) I say go for it.

With running the fan... Make sure you clean the filters on a regular basis, I almost have to clean mine after every weekend campout where I have the AC or fan running.
