Running antenna wire through fridge vent.

Has anyone run a wire down through the fridge vent on the roof? I'm looking to install a cell booster antenna, and really don't want to punch a hole in the roof. Snaking the cable down through this vent seems like an option.

I was wondering how much heat comes off the fridge when running on propane? Anyone know if it would melt this cable?

I don't believe there is enough heat there to cause any problems. I have wires running in that vent tube for an exhaust fan to keep the air moving behind the fridge. I've never had an issue and I travel in up to 106 degree weather in AZ, with my fridge on both propane and/or electric. Even at while home, I always have my GreyHawk fridge on at all times, never shut it off.

I ran my solar wires in through the roof vent and down the side of the fridge. I drilled a hole in the wooden base and continued the wires to the area beneath the fridge.

In addition to the 2 solar wires I also ran a feed from an additional backup camera that I installed at the top of the back so I could see the back end of a 10 foot enclosed trailer I haul. It made it easier to see when vehicles were clear of the trailer for changing lanes.

The cable feed down the fridge was fairly easy. I made sure they were siliconed to the roof to prevent movement. I also enclosed them in wire loom along the side of the fridge for a little extra protection. No problems encountered in 2 years. This was on my 2017 Greyhawk.

Route the wires down the left side of the fridge (side without the chimney) as it is much cooler.

Already bought it. WeBoost Drive Sleek and tried it last week with just placing the small shark fin antenna on the roof. Worked pretty good. Got us service when there was barely one bar.

Bought an upgrade trucker OTR antenna, that has higher boost, and going to mount that up on the roof.

And adding this antenna up top:
