running lights and dash lights 2008 Seneca

No running lights or dash lights. I hit the switch and they come on. You drive over some bumps and they go off. Dome light will not turn off. I would say there is a short in the switch. has anyone removed the switch or had the same problem? Thanks in advance, Capt. Rich

No, but it does seem like a loose connection.

x2, a loose connection, or as in a poor ground connection within the circuit.

I removed the swich and used some contact cleaner and then re-snapped the connection and it is working fine. When I first removed the connection it appeared to be loose. I am amazed at times how more things don't rattle loose with some of the condition of the roads we drive over. Especially here in the north with the freeze-thaw and truck weight pounding. May the convection oven never come crashing down.
