Have to ask this...why cover it? It will still get dusty and mold can occur under a damp cover.

But down in the warmer states even the sun comes out in winter and keeps the rig dry. I know UV can take a toll down here but I'll take my chances.

I used to cover and gave it up. Just a thought.

I've used ADCO covers. The held up for four off seasons before beginning to shred.

Actually that's not quite accurate. Depends on the cover. Good quality covers breathe and keep the rig clean all Winter, versus having all the normal junk fall on it all season.

Plus, protecting the exterior from UV for multiple months saves the paint and decals.

I have a Classic Accessories cover for 5er. The trailer gets washed and waxed before I put it away for the season. When I take the cover off 5-6 months later in the spring it is just as clean as when I out it away. No mold, dirt, etc. Its a breathable cover and protects against UV as well. This cover is going on its 5th year and no issues and holding up strong.

My last RV (Thor 22E) came with a new Elements All Climate cover. I used it for four years and last Spring I decided it was time to get a new one. I live in southern New England and we get that heavy wet snow that is usually followed by a flash freeze and strong wind. I have to say it handled the weather pretty well. I read some of the recent on this cover and apparently the quality has fallen off so I bought an ADCO Designer for my new Jayco 26XD. We'll see how this one works out. The reason I use a cover is to protect my investment. I wrap all the corners and possible wear points by taping old towels around them, and make sure the cover stays strapped nice and snug to the RV.

Before we bought the Seneca, retired and I was still north in the Winter, I used Adco covers on 3 different trailers. 19 foot and 25 foot not bad. 30 footer, pretty heavy to haul to the roof and quite a project to put on and take off. They are great protection from snow and ice. Not something easy to take off if wet or covered with snow and ice. Now, we go south November 1st and head back north around late March. We have never winterized the Seneca, much easier. ;-)
