White hoses are crap. I have a blue one that works fine but in cold weather like most others gets stiff so I guess imho there is nothing great unless your In warm weather

Zero G only way to go, flexible even when cold, very light weight

Garden vs Drinking water hose

Is there truly anything special about the Camco white ‘drinking water’ hose as compared to the G Zero garden hose or SS aqua Joe garden hose? I see the SS comes with an insert saying do not use this or any garden hose as a drinking water hose. Seems all hoses are susceptible to contamination. Both the Camco drinking water hose and the SS are PVC. Do people ever clean the internals of their hose or just throw them out? Thanks

The insides can be disinfected with a bleach mixture, but I repurpose ours to a regular garden hose at home, and put a new one in the trailer every couple of years. We only go out camping for 4 or 5 trips a season.

Yea, it’s a pita to deal with, especially in the cold! The ZeoG is one of the best accessories I’ve ever purchased for my rv!

If I recall it had to do with the garden hoses leaching known cancer-causing agents under a set of circumstances.

Which I'm sure could happen.

All of that to say, I swicthed from a white one to an Aqua Joe garden hose and am not going back. I like these expandable hoses.

Ss Drinking water hose

After reading these posts I purchased a SS 50 foot Beaulife drinking water hose from Amazon. Could not be happier. Lightweight and no linking. Highly recommend.
