In the 24K there is a vent below the refrigerator. Remove that vent and the water heater is behind 2 heater ducts. Turn off the inlet and outlet valves and open the bypass valve. If you are not sure which is which there are 3 valves like the low point drain valves. Turn all three valves 1/4 turn to bypass. When you are finished turn them all again 1/4 turn. They will only turn one way so if it is open, turning it will close it and if it is closed it will open.
