schwintek slide controller

I'm a newbie and just purchased a 2017 Grayhawk 29MV and I'm trying to locate the controller for the slides. All the owners manual says is to locate it, but doesn't tell you where its at. Does anyone know where its located?

Get on your knees and open every cabinet or call Jayco's customer service line and ask. I have 4 in some less than convenient locations. My dealer took an hour to find it the first issue I had.

Thanks, I guessing they are not located in a uniform location!

Look under the bed, our 2016 29mv's is there. Ours is currently in the shop to be repaired since this system has quit working and our bedroom slide it stuck in.

The front slide of the 29MV does not appear to have the classic Schwintek side rails. Is it a different brand slide mechanism?

Ours only has the schwintek on the rear slide, the front slide is a regular style slide

the 2017 has two different styles/brands of slide mechanisms. The rear I believe is a schwintek mechanism. Not sure of the brand or type for the front slide but it is different than the rear. They are both controlled by a controller located under the bed in the back bedroom. you will need to lift up the bed and prop it up, remove the panel under the foot side of the bed. you will see it up under there with all the other wiring and controls.

Our controller is under the bed also. Crazy Jayco mounted it on the very bottom under all the rats nest of wiring. Hope I never have a problem and need to see what the code is.

Very poor craftsmanship. Its these kind of things that makes me wanna kick someone in the backside.

I was curious about mine too. 2015 23MDS. I saw another thread where someone found theirs under the pantry behind the wooden louvered vent for the furnace. I removed the 4 screws that held the louvers in place and found the controller screwed to the outside wall in the furnace compartment.

I located mine under the queen bed, you’d think they would be consistent with the location placement! 😀😀
