does anyone where the control panel is located in event of a failure, for manual override if necessary. we have a 2019 class c model 22j. no issues yet but want to be prepared if one occurs...
Smart move! I was in Alaska last summer and had a bedroom slide issue. none of the Jayco dealers had time to look at it so I went to Karen's RV in Anchorage. They called Jayco to ask where the location of the controller was and they couldn't help them. I was lucky and found mine after looking for 6 months and was able to tell them where to look, but they did waist 2 1/2 hours trying to find it before they called me. Jayco did pay for the whole amount I was charged. I have a Sennca and on mine you have to take out a pull out door and look on the back side of the wall for the controller.
If it is not under the bead look in the space below the wardrobe in the bedroom. In the Seneca37ts it is located next to the electrical fuse panel but to get to it you have to remove the bottom drawer and then contort your body to see it.
If you need to by pass the unit due to failure there are videos on line how to do this. Basically you lift each motor and allow the unit to free wheel. Then if traveling you need to use something to lock the unit into a closed position.
Good luck and please post the location for others.
Thanks, i will look in that area. I think it might be under the bed so will need to remove the mattress. What a pain. Would e nice if location was listed in the owners manual...will post location...
With the slide out in you cannot access the water filter. With slide out in out position take out drawers below the clothes closet. Filter will be on left side. Cannot remove without spilling water, great design.
