Section of Drawers extending while underway
On our 2016 29MV there's a whole vertical section of galley drawers which extends as a unit. Two times now, during a right turn, the whole section has extended and all its drawers have also opened. There's really nothing in the drawers except silverware and utensils. Makes a lot of noise and startles DW.
Aside from never turning right, is there an easy way to prevent this?

Startled us a couple of times also. I added an additional latch at the top to hold it in place while underway. Another option would be to pull the whole thing out (which I've done a couple of times trying to fish wires) and put an additional latch at the back. It's just too darn heavy for one small latch to hold it in on a quick right turn.

My 2015 never did this. And we had silverware and all sorts of stuff in it.

I have found bungee cords do the trick no flying silverware.

Your picture looks a lot like our Seneca. Our rig has the outdoor TV right behind the kitchen sink, so when I had it out for another project... I could see how they installed the latches to keep this drawer / counter unit secured. Of course it will eventually give up since it is the inexpensive plastic snap latches.
I hope that you have the same luck... I had to remove the Television from the outside cabinet and then there is good access to fix those latches.

Another change Jayco made...I guess because of this and complaints they now only have the countertop extend. The drawers do not come out with the countertop on our 2018.

I noticed that change myself while looking at newer models. Smart change!

I bought a used 2015 29MV. The previous owner had the described problem. Solved by installing a stainless steel slide lock to the face of the kitchen cabinet, with a hole drilled into the pull out drawer section solid surface counter. Works just fine when driving.
Hopefully I'll never have to make a quick right turn evasive maneuver which possibly could dislodge the slide lock!

It might be in the owners manual, not supposed to drive like Steve McQueen in an RV …

Jayco making a design change based on complaints.... Hmmmmm...
Maybe it was to allow space for the external TV to be added?
