Securing pocket door

Hi- New to the forum.
Love our 2013 Greyhawk. Don't love the snap strap that holds the pocket door in place between the shower and galley. The strap is too elastic and flimsy. While in motion, the door slides back and forth making a loud ruckus. I've put pieces of cardboard between the door and strap, but would like a more permanent solution. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better hardware to secure the door?
Thanks for any suggestions

Where the strap is secured to the wall move it farther from the door.. this will tighten things up.. just make sure you have enough slack to snap and unsnap the strap.

OOPS. Think I deleted the reply.
Thanks Seann for the reply. Was thinking of doing this, but worried that the elastic would just continue to stretch. I will try this as a temp solution.

Same here-cloth. Doesn't shake, rattle or roll.

Ensure the plastic guide at the bottom of the door is installed and has not been knocked loose. My kids have successfully popped this plastic guide off numerous times. Without it the door swings forward and back and makes more noise.
