Securing the door open and the awning on a Greyhawk 29MV
I finally figured out how to prop open the door of my Greyhawk. I take a tie-down strap, loop it around the gas cylinder, hook it around the round metal bar under the steps, route it around the edge of the door and secure it to the front bumper. I tighten it a little. The door won't flap in the breeze, and won't tear your gas cylinder or door jam apart.
To secure the awning, I extend it, then I loop a tie-down strap over the notch in the support bar, then take large tent stakes, pound them into the ground to make an X, hook the end of the tie-down strap to the X and gently tighten the tie-down with the ratchet. Then do it to the other end. When other peoples awnings are blowing away, yours will stay secure.
