Seneca 37FS 2 stage propane regulator

I know nothing about propane. I brought my rig out of storage, this evening to find that when I open my tank valve, propane spews out of the vent of the regulator.

Any ideas on what has caused this to go bad??

Are all regulators the same? I see a few online and just want to make sure I'm getting something that will work. I can't seem to find a part number or anything letting me know what to replace this one with.

-This one seems to "look" like mine; but as with all things, looks can be deceiving.

Your part number is on the face of it, not the brand. Amazon has what you need, as we just went through this process. However we would strongly encourage you to have an RV tech install it so that it's set for the appropriate amount of water column inches. When they do this they can also pressure test the system to make sure that there are no deficiencies in your piping
