Seneca 50 amp EMS install

Just installed a 50amp EMS from Progressive in our Seneca. Working time approx 45 min. Did not have to add any additional wiring. Mounted the unit in the basement with the cord reel. Very straight forward, the difficult part is working with the stiff, heavy gauge wiring. One tip that I discovered is too shorten the white wire on the output side by 3/8 inch. This allows you to bend the red and black wires for additional clearance for the inductive sensors that fit around them. Here is a pic of the final install. One other note by installing in this position the display will be up-side down if you install according to the manual. Just unplug and flip the circuit board 180 degrees.

Wow, looks great. Looks like you had plenty of room to install. My dealer had to cram mine in behind the power center. Not sure I like their set up.

I just installed one in our TT on Monday. I also had to cram mine behind the power center. i was going to install it in the outside storage compartment but I didn't want to fish wire and drill holes. its fine where it's at.
