Seneca/Accolade GVWR change for 2021

I noticed on the 2021 S2RV chassis (not 2021 coaches) that the GVWR has changed from 29,000 lbs to 31,000 lbs for the Seneca and Accolade. The change is in the rear axle GAWR which goes from 19,000 to 21,000.

Any idea when Jayco will roll coaches off the line with this 2021 chassis or what changes were made to increase the rear axle GAWR?

Call and ask for John Macdonald he is the Marketing Manager so he may have the answer. He was always very responsive to those types of questions. Can't hurt.

No concern to me but might be to someone thinking about a future purchase. Based on my most recent CAT scale crossing I have plenty of capacity left and I was loaded for a 2 week trip. My 2020's GVWR of 29K is just fine by me.

Agree.... For us, we hardly ever come close to the GVWR on our Seneca. But the GCWR is what is more important to us... what we can tow!

We tow a 10k GVWR trailer behind our Seneca, but run over our GCWR when loaded over 7,000#
