Seneca air compresor
Recent trip to Daytona and I heard air from air tank bleeder leaking on startup. It's done this before and it sealed up after it got moisture on it. Well, it didn't stop this time. By the time I got to Defuniak Springs in Florida I decided to have it looked at cause there was a Freightliner shop there. Jayco decided to go the cheap way and not put air dryers on the Seneca's. $700.00 savings. Mechanic said the was going bad. It's always been "chatty" but now he said it was fixin to come apart. After overnighting a new one from Cummins under warranty it sounds a lot better. I have 20,000 miles on it. They replaced the idler pulley and the belt. So, if it's chatty, have it looked at!
