Seneca entry door latch

We recently acquired a 2015 Jayco Seneca 37FS. The keyless entry system does not work and the deadbolt is pretty flimsy. While in motion the door actually opens! I’m pretty sure we’ll need to replace the whole deal. We had to replace the Trimark junk twice on our older class C. Can anyone recommend a decent main entry door assembly?

You may not require a new door but your present door needs to be installed correctly. On this one suggest you get professional help from an RV shop that repairs crash damage not that the removal of the door is outside the capabilities of a do it your selfer. New door lock mechanisms are readily available and only take a few minutes to swap out.

We don't use our elock because it is unreliable. If your door opens under travel, check that your frame latch has the proper reinforcement plates installed.
