Seneca Insurance Cost

OK need to know what company y'all are using and how much your paying. Insurance on our 2014 Seneca and 2011 Jeep 4 Dr. Wrangler just went up. Going to cost us $3121 if we stay with Cincinnati. Our agent is shopping around to see what others want per year. The Jeep is only $475, the rest is the Seneca. Collision alone just went up $775 more. I have never in my life had a ticket or accident and my husband hasn't had a ticket or anything in over 20 years. Would love to see what everyone else has. HELP

I have State Farm; have since 1978. My 2014 Seneca TS cost $1,150 for 2017, full coverage with $500 collision deductible, $100 comprehensive deductible. Get a discount since 3 other cars and our home insurance also on our plan.

Did some shopping last year and determined that there was not significant savings to be had. So we stayed with SF. Ohio is ranked as one of the least expensive states to insure a vehicle, so other areas will likely cost more.

To do fair price comparisons, need to know your coverage elections and amounts, the biggest being the replacement value and uninsured/underinsured motorists coverage.

I'll have to look tomorrow but we usually do $1000 deductible and pretty much the limit I believe on the other. Will have to check what we have it valued at too, can't remember.

Everyone get ready for a BIG bump in your insurance premiums. The insurance companies have been paying out a lot due to the recent natural catastophes and guess where the $$$ are going to come from to pay the claims?

Yes I have been hearing that also. Everyone is saying their home, auto all across the board has gone up this year. But I saw some mention their Seneca insurance cost here before and even then it was higher than what we had paid. Time to shop.

You can go on progressives site and get a quote in about 5 minutes. Family motor coach also has insurance and that came in at a similar $1300 range.

Thank you. So far our agent has it down to $1600 motorhome + the Jeep. But she thinks she can get the Jeei lower as right now they quoted it at $647. The old company wants $465 for the Jeep. Will let everyone when she's done working on it what we end up with. Current quote is from Progressive"

I am a USAA member, and while USAA insures my autos, (and a pop-up trailer) they do not provide policies for RV's/MH. However, they partner with Progressive through an affiliate program - and Progressive (by far) had the best price versus coverage plan for me.

I have:
BI @ 250K/person, 500K/accident
PD @ 100K
UI @ 250K/person, 500K/accident
UM PD $3500
Medical 10K/person
1K deductible with total purchase price protection
Mexico Coverage
Fire Dept Service 1K
Emergency expense 2K
vacation liability coverage of 250K
trailer coverage
roadside assistance (although I have others for that as well)
Disappearing deductible - goes down each policy renewal if no claims.

1 year policy term, I'm getting 6 or 7 discounts applied, and it costs me $86.00/month - in CALIFORNIA (the land of getting screwed for everything).

I'm comfortable I have a good deal, and Progressive was a super easy process and great to deal with so far. I also like they are affiliated with USAA.

I am in south Florida, probably one of the highest insurance rate places in the country. My Progressive policy runs about $1,200 a year for 100/300 liability and $1,000 deductible comp and collision. State Farm, my 25 year insurance company wanted $1,800 and Geico $1,500.

With Progressive, not only do I get the lower rate, but I get the hope of someday hanging out with Flo

Some quality time with Flo would be a value add [emoji3]

Wow it's so much more expensive up here. Full coverage with $2000 dollar deductible is $2755.00 and that's with Aviva. My broker tried shopping it around and this was best we could do.
