Seneca jacks

Can anyone tell me what to check first, my jacks won't come down. They had been working great until last night and were still two months from home.

2017 38rb

Thanks

I am certainly not an expert but;
check for blown fuse or tripped breaker
check fluid level in hydraulic tank, could be low?
Are batteries weak? Let them charge a little
Is the touch pad flashing any odd lights? Check your manual for the Leveling system you have.

Do your stairs work? If not check the circuit breaker on the chassis batteries. There is a knife switch that supplies power to jacks and steps. Be sure ignition is off, check your grounds they have a habit of falling off.

Check the breaker on your chassis batteries. Tripped on me once and messed with radio, levelers, and steps.

Thanks for all the advice. My steps work, can't find a problem with ground wires, Doesn't mean I missed one. So I'll ask this if my fluid level was low, it's hard to tell, would you still hear the pump run? I've got nothing going on except the lights all come on on the dash control panel.

I would call Equalizer (if that’s the brand you have).
Hey have been extremely helpful when I reached out to them.

I’d also look up the manual and go through the troubleshooting section just in case it mentions something in there.

There is a fuse holder wired inline right by the pump on mine, have you checked there?

Stupid question...the motor is not running right, or ignition on. The system will allow the jacks to come up with them on, but wont go down if it thinks the ignition is on.

No such thing as a stupid question. You are right. I have tried every imaginable from whats's normal, even started the truck and moved it a little. It's been working great for several months, then all of the sudden bam.

Thanks

Check your solenoid underneath your rig to be sure all the nuts are tight over your wires. Mine worked loose causing my system to not function but all the lights on the panel were lit. Mine was on the driver’s side mid way back on the inside of the rail. Seneca 37TS, not sure if all are the same.

Additionally, check my post from 3-6-18 for some pictures and more detail.

Well my jacks now work manually. I looked for loose wires and bad fuses. I did replace one fuse that was good because I had one. I hate it when something now works and you don't know why.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Do they work manually but not automatically? There is a module located somewhere in your basement ceiling. This contains the actual level sensor. Verify that it is firmly attached to the ceiling. I would also check the wiring clips to be sure they are firmly set. Sometime a loose wire can be a pain to find and could cause poor function of a system like this.
