Seneca jacks won’t work

Thought I would post up something I discovered strange today in case it happens to somebody else. I was preparing the Seneca for a trip, ran and got fuel and propane and came home and parked on back slab the has quite a slope so I went to level with the jacks to start the fridge. Shut down the engine and hit power on the jack panel and hit level and the panel just beeped at me and ignition on was flashing. Checked the key and it was off, tried again and again and nothing. Started the engine and shut down and removed the key...same thing, panel said ignition on. Checked everything in cab and was scratching by head trying to figure this out when I noticed I had left the park lights on from the drive. Flipped the switch off and jacks worked, thought it was strange that the jacks sense the ignition is on when park lights are on. I also wish there was a dummy bell or buzzer when the headlights or park lights are on as I have left them on several times when stopping.

The jacks will also not work when you forget to put the parking brakes on.
