Seneca living room slide

Question Have any of you repaired the bottom of your slide. Mine is ripped in a couple of places from the head of the screws used to hold down the slide bar. If you have i'm wondering what you used.

Thanks

I've not had to do it on our Seneca, but on prior owned travel trailers I've used black "Gorilla tape" with great success.

X2 (Gorilla Tape) not Duct Tape, Gorella Tape is thicker and holds better.

I had a small tear and used spray electrical insulation to fix it. Hopefully you fixed the offending screw heads first before fixing your tears.

Given the limited protection this thin woven plastic material provides the wood above it, I think you could use black spray paint and it would seal better. This is yet another example of saving $$$ as our previous MH had a relatively thick monolithic piece of white hard plastic as the outer skin of the floor.

Rustolium(sp?) makes a bedliner spray that is pretty thick and might work well.

Possibly spray adhesive between the fabric and the floor to get it to seal to the floor then top coat it with the spray.
