Seneca masorater system

How does the Seneca masorater system work? I have always used the old traditional way of hooking up hose and opening valves. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up Macerator Assist

Very similar to the tried and true standard dump system, but the Macerator uses an electric grinder to pulverize the waste and send it through a smaller more convenient hose with less mess. We had one in our Roadtrek and it worked really well!

Motor

Should you be able to hear the macerated motor when you switch it on?

Yes. If the system has liquid in it. If dmpty/ dry it may not make much noise. Follow the dump hose toward the tank snd you should find the motor attached. If you put your hanc on ig you should feel it startup. If not s possible fuse/ electrical issue may exist

My macerator wouldn't come on from first trip out. Brought unit back for this and a few other things. Dealer told me he found no fuse in the panel and then no wire behind fuse. He had to run a wire to fuse panel from switch as this was forgotten when built. Humm. After that, on next trip it worked great. No mess, no hoses to break loose and rinse.
