Seneca - MCD Shade Adjustment

So we have a shade that doesn't want to retract all the way up on its own. I've downloaded the adjustment directions from MCD but really wondering how to get my big fingers up under the wood valence to turn the adjustment wheels. Any real world experience to share on the adjustment procedure without removing the valence?

I'd love to know this too...
Do you have a link to where you downloaded the adjustment directions?

We literally had one of the sun shades replaced during warranty period, because it would not retract all the way. Dealer didn't want to mess with it either. I've had a couple of them get stuck, because of pulled to far down or allowed to roll up out of control. Just used a lot of pressure to pull it free to retract. The white block out shades have not given us the same problem. Goof Luck resolving.

I''ll take this issue over most any other problem all day long (like finding the power tap for the water heater). These MCDs are a treat compared to the accordions and their tight strings.

Install by setting the side opposite the bush bar, in the groves on each clip and press up into place. See photos.

Thanks! That’s exactly what I was looking for (the mounting brackets). I’ll see if I can turn the adjustment wheels without removing the shade.
