Probably the quickest and easiest mod I have done. I decided to add the upgrade of the Bluetooth module for the Equilizer leveler system. It was pretty much remove the 4 screws on the panel, unplug the harness and plug the module inline and put the panel back on. I was able to tuck the module up under the radio through the opening for the panel. Took about 5 minutes to complete. We camp a lot on river bars so it will be nice to be able to control the levelers while I can be out watching and clearing rocks.

Sounds like your setup to handle the little adjustments and solutions. Enjoy the ride! Semper Paratus!

Chief Boats! Thank you for the warm welcome! We are enjoying it so far! We plan to stay on here to learn new things, get updates and ideas for mods and traveling too. Maybe we will cross paths and share some sea stories...

I believe you'll like the functionality. Since I installed the app on my iPhone I've used it twice. The first time was when I installed my snap pads and the second was our trip to Wilmington, NC. In Wilmington I was able to level from outside while connecting electric and water.

Finally got around to removing the sofa/sleeper and installing a RecPro electric recliner. The sofa/sleeper easily unbolted into pieces to get it out the door and the new units are made to come in an RV door do it was pretty painless. It was nice that there was already inverter supplied power in the slide and all I had to do was add a plug to the box already there. They didn’t have an exact match color and I wanted the Pewter color and the DW wanted the Toffee.....you can see who won. She wanted more color in the rig and we already had pillows and throw rugs that match the new recliner. Very happy with it and it is very comfy. I did find some Jayco Quality wiring access.....

Seneca Headlights-Flash during daytime
Has anyone looked into what it would take to have the option to flash the headlights during the day with the highbeam switch?

Seneca Onan Gen 12volt fuse.
Has anyone added a fuse on wire from the Coach battery to the Gen?
Mine has #2 wire from Coach battery down the frame to the Gen with no protection.

My 2014 has a large circuit breaker protecting the generator starter 12-volt feed. Mounted very near my coach battery solenoid and my Battery Isolation Manager solenoid on the forward wall of my battery compartment.

My guess is that it might be something Freightliner could program into the Smartplex (multiplexed) system. Would be handy at times. I had to take mine into the dealer and have it "flashed" when I added my Freightliner fog lights controlled by a smart switch I installed on my dash. I wonder if flash to pass might be similar.
Need a Freightliner guru or someone with a Freightliner Service connection to ask and find out!

Seneca front "jump" seat installation
My two grandsons and I take frequent "boys" trips and both like to ride up front so we can talk and view the passing scenery. Obviously just sitting between the front seats isn't safe, so I set out to find a solution.
I found a "take-off" new Ford center jump seat/console on eBay. It has an integrated shoulder harness/lap belt, and its size was perfect to fit in between the front seats. It also has cupholders and compartments whether flipped down or stood up! Once I received the seat I set out to design and fabricate a method to securely mount the seat yet have it be completely removable when it is just the wife and I traveling.
My 2014 chassis has the significant "step" from the house floor level to the cab floor. The rear of the new seat will secure to a bracket that is bolted down to the top of that step. Underneath the rig in that area is the first Jayco crossmember providing a solid place to attach the bracket. I will install bolts up through the crossmember behind the cab seats so they won't impede the "aisle" from the cab to the house when the seat is not installed.
To mount the front I fabricated brackets that bolt to the original cab seat bases and have a mounting "tab" to locate the front bracket for the new seat. These brackets will stay in place when the seat is removed but they tuck up under the seat and will be invisible behind the skirt when the jump seat is removed. Then there is a bracket that connects between both of the new seat brackets and it supports the front of the new seat.
The seat itself bolts to my new brackets in the original Ford mounting points, 4 - 1/2" grade 8 bolts will secure the seat to the brackets. I have grade 5 hardware installed now for mock-up but will replace with "the good stuff" for final installation.
I haven't yet decided whether I will have all my brackets powder coated or whether I will just bead blast and paint them. But they will be made "pretty" when I'm all done! Now if I could just find a way to make the new grey seat match my existing Flexsteel seats.........!

That works out great. Years ago with my first car I used a Vinyl spray paint on the seats that held up surprisingly well, might look into it, with limited use it might be a good alternative.

Rusty, great work on the recliner. I hate that little couch and find it useless; definitely going to look into this.
Can you provide information on how to get the Bluetooth module?
