Would you mind sharing how you did that with some pics.
Thanks

I have a design, and have not built yet. This is definitely a challenge and I have not found anyone with my year model who has done it. Currently using a 2x4 to prop open because the cheap little rod provide slipped out and the whole bed came crashing down. Luckily no one was under the bed.

Let us know what you think. I have read they are great and have read they are waste of money.

After first outing found that when the freezer was fully extended had a little wobble so added a second set of sliders much more stable now , have also completely eliminated bringing a cooler .

I am definitely going to have to some measuring. It looks like you just used two draw slides on each side and raised them up over the lip with another board. I have mine sitting on the basement floor and I can barely open the lids far enough to get something out.

Thanks for the idea.

Yup 2x4 stood up seems to be the right height on bottom and then used 2x2 on top part and it clears the seals

Cfx100w

I used a MORyde slide for mine. It holds the Dometic CFX 100W with 4½ case of bottled beer fully extended.

I did something similar for my ARB zero fridge. It’s also dual power and can be a combination of 1/2 fridge and freezer or all fridge or all freezer. I like it because it gets moved to the back of the Jeep for trail rides.

Do you still feel it was worth it? the reason I am asking is I have seen some bad reviews of the BT12.
I just asked Jayco for the wiring diagram and am getting ready to order the BT12 and would like your opinion after 2 years of use?
Thanks

Just got a quote on a 2022 Accolade and this type of slide out tray and Dometic electric cooler is now listed as an option. You are a trend setter.

Drawer bottoms

Re: 2017 37HJ

Anyone have tips on reinforcing drawer bottoms so they don't flex and will hold more weight?

Yes I do still feel it was worth it! Use it every trip and its nice to be able to turn the awning light off and on and dim it. Adding the also gives you a wind sensor when just saved my awning this weekend. The Jayco wiring diagram, as you found out shows you nothing. What I did was download the installation manual for my awning which showed me what each wire to the factory switch was, then with the BT12 manual, matched them up with the wiring diagram for those switches. Then only thing that had me thinking for a bit was the BT12 ignition lockout Green wire. It is not used as the power for the awning is already run through a main ignition lockout from Jayco.

I havent had any issues with mine at all, has worked great. I do recommend opening the module if you get it and put in NEW Energizer Lithium batteries as my unit came with cheap Costco Kirkland batteries. If the unit stops working correctly and makes a beeping tone, it means it needs new batteries.....that had me going for a while

Thank you for the feed back. It makes me feel a little better, I will go ahead with this mod. Like I said, some reviews trashed the BT12. It is really good to hear from someone that has been using it for two years.

I really like your setup with the Domestic fridge on the slide. Can you provide more details re the size of slide, any other accessories to ensure I get it right the first time?
Thanks!

I had that problem with our drawer under the fridge. I put a strip of the steel shelving bracket across the bottom.

I had a couple of drawer bottoms slip out of groove. Easiest fix is to reseat and run a couple of self tapping wood screws through drawer bottom into drawer case. Click image for larger version
