Seneca Molding Question

I need to reattach the molding around my slide to the wood substrate as it fell off during our shakedown cruise. I want to do this so the attachment is more secure than the few staples that were originally used.

If I went in and screwed the molding in place with countersunk screws and a furniture plug, then it would look odd. I have considered double face tape and Liquid Nails, but once again, not sure how well this would hold up to vibration going down the road.

How have others addressed this type of repair?

Probably just needs more staples. If you glue it and you need repairs, everything gets damaged.

We reattached ours with Gorilla Construction Adhesive, and it survived the AZ summers which most adhesives would not.

We ended up attaching it with screws and then countersinking them and filling with wood filler. Looks pretty good after staining the filler. And the confidence of them not coming off while rolling downdrafts the road. Would not want our four legged friend to get squished. Thanks everyone.
