Seneca Norcold Upper Vent

Is there supposed to be a board about halfway up the upper vent opening? Seems to be there to direct air flow up and out the top part of the opening.

I think I understand it's function as a baffle to ensure the draft air flows across the coils as much as possible. Sound reasonable?

I believe in the Norcold 12**- series installation manual (available online) they specify how the unit should be vented when not a "through the roof" installation and how the enclosure should be designed.

Are you concerned something has shifted inside yours?

I don't have a class C but my fridge is in the slide and it has a baffle between the lower and upper vents.

I also found that there is a factory installed draft fan up in there cause I can hear it running in hot weather.
