I would guess if you have a Seneca it would be 10 to 15 thousand. The 4 color process has to take at least a week to complete with color layups and drying time.

I'd talk to Motorized Service. Ask to get on the schedule for the paint when they have it in Sept.

The problem is that they just had it for 4 weeks and paint work was done by S&S automotive and nothing looks fixed and some areas look worse.

I'd be on the phone again...ask for or send a letter to the Director of Motorized Customer Service.

Front cap

Is the top of anyone’s front cap smooth? One of the issues is heavy orange peel in this area.

Hello everyone, Im new to this forum. Im looking forward to buying my Seneca in the next couple of years. Getting back to the subject of paint. I am looking at the new models at a local dealership and noticed that the paint used is Sikkens. (Akzo Nobel) I also noticed alot of issues from Orange Peel to Dry areas cause by lack of clear coat too. I worked for Akzo for 9 years. One of the best quality paint materials. They offer a lifetime warranty on defects of their products. The issues i see on these RV's is from workmanship at the BodyShop or RV refinishing depts. If you can identify the actual shop the RV was refinished at that is where i would start. Especially if it is still under warranty.

After reading this thread again... I had to go out and walk around our Seneca and see if I could find out a little more about our unit. Like Rick, ours was painted at Precision Painting - and it looks almost as good as it did when we bought it. (except for the scratches that I have given it)

I've posted our paint sticker from inside of the kitchen under sink cabinet door.

Hi Robbbyr. Can you send me a photo of the paint codes. Ours has been destroyed. However, I can see our unit number and paint date. We have the same rig! Thanks. Kathy

Here is a picture of codes, and the rig itself since there were a couple of paint schemes in 2014.

Mine was painted by:
Premium Custom Painting, Co.
The paint on mine looks good. I have not seen anything of concern.
Several companies have all been acquired by Patrick Paint group

https://patrickpaintgroup.com/
Now consists of these companies:
Carrera Custom Painting, Millennium Paint, Precision Painting, Premium Paint, Mike’s Custom Painting.
