Seneca - Safer Inner House Steps

Relaying our experience with the inner house steps (the ones with the rubber treads). On a trip last year, either the treads were wet or my shoe sole was wet and my foot slipped beneath me on my way out of the coach. I believe my shoe slipped off the stair edge. I took a nasty fall on my butt (thankfully not my back) and slid down to the first outer step. I was heavily bruised and in pain for a week but thankfully nothing worse than that. I'm going to install traction tape strips like these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 on the step treads and around each step edge next week to help prevent a future slip. Thought I'd pass this 'safety message' along to the community.

Thanks for the PSA. We have never thought RV steps would pass any sort of code and there must be a better way.

Replaced Jayco’s dismal and useless stairway light with a powerful LED light strip today. Had a fourth strip left over from re-lamping the wet bay. Now we and the pups can actually see the steps for sure footing!
