Seneca seat base lowering.

Well, the DW kept whining that her feet couldn’t reach the floor in her seat even with it lowered all the way down. Took a look at the base and it looked like a pretty easy job and gotta keep her happy! Started by cutting off the front and rear mounts, then took 2” out of the height and welded it back up. Took about an hour but her smile made it all worth it looking in the cab, it really doesn’t look like it’s 2” lower until you sit in it....feels a lot better, probably have to do my side next.

Nice job. When I suggested this to my 5’0” wife when we got ours, she said no to lowering the seat because then she couldn’t see over the dash. She was happy with the step I made for her. Now she can see where we are going without her feet dangling. As you said “Happy wife .......”

IV been playing with the idea of a air suspension seat.

I drove an FL70 for years that had air ride seats, to bouncy for me to have in the Moho. Granted, the S2RV chassis rides much better than that old FL70 but as nice of a ride that it has I dont see the need for them. I ended up lowing my seat this morning and it feels much better. I had the seat adjusted all the way down before and still felt like I was sitting on a perch as I am 6'2".

Rusty, you are so talented. I have a question, where did you get that center console? It looks like it has always been there.

Thanks, but I can’t take credit for the console. That was designed and build by a forum member. You can get them here, they are nicely made and worth it....one of my first adds.
