Seneca Solar Prep

I know others have asked about the solar prep for the 2018 Seneca. I have our unit in our shop to get the paint fixed finally and was able to get on the roof. Here is what’s on our roof. Sorry if someone has already posted this.

Solar

Is that near the rear? Very very far from the battery location? Kind of like the water heater on ours ( what were they thinking )

Yep, that's close where mine is also.
Driver's side rear on the roof for the plug in... but up a little bit farther forward.

The prep location for the controller is in the side bay on our 37RB.
I'm going to try to find where the wires run through the interior and put the controller inside. Will have to see how that goes trying to find wires running through the interior walls.

I installed panels on my 2018 HJ with the same connections. I installed the controller in the bay where the wires are. I then used a MT-50 remote display mounted just behind the drivers seat. I’m able to monitor and adjust the controllers output from there. You should be carful not to mount the controller too far from the batteries.

How does the control panel mounting distance from the batteries effect it ?
I was planning on mounting mine inside the coach where the wires run through the walls. This would have it about half way between the panels and the batteries. I don’t like the bay mounting idea but maybe that’s where I need to mount it.
Any pictures of how you mounted the control panel in the bay ?

In the ts the wires drop down between the wardrobe and tha washer dryer cabinet. Then run forward under the cabinets to the wire in location in the front drivers side basement storage.
