Seneca TS slide trim

Moisture, heat, etc. exhausting from the front top of convection oven has damaged the trim over the oven (slide surround) on our 2015 Seneca TS with Bentley trim. I think all woodwork was done in same color in the 2015's. Our dealor contacted Jayco and was told trim pieces no longer available.

Any thoughts? Has anyone needed to find trim pieces? What would we do if there was major damage from say a slide malfunction?

Thanks.

Depending on where you are located I would contact a local cabinet maker. If you find the right one they can do pretty good job getting it matched up. The trim is fairly simple to shape. The finish is the true art.

Can't help with your trim question, but are you certain the exterior vent flap is open? On ours, it was secured shut and I had to get on a ladder and pop it open. Before doing this, the oven exhaust was being forced back in the RV behind the oven. We rarely use the cooktop blower that exhausts out the front of the oven. If you are going to repair the trim, you should fix the moisture venting issue also.

Great point. I did not even realize there was flap on there until some one mentioned it in another post. Again it shows the invaluable nature of this site.
