Seneca water line

I have a 2017 Seneca 37rb that seems to have a issue with a water line being plugged or crimped. The line is my black tank flush line, having two black tanks we have a valve to flush only one tank at a time. Thinking it might be that valve I removed it and connected it to my garden hose and it works fine. When I take the lines that were attached to the valve I can blow through one and hear it bubbling in the tank. The other line I have back pressure not allowing air through. Disconnecting that line on my black tank side it is still plugged, so I know it's the line. The only way you would know it's not working is to have a clear connection on the gravity side of your sewer drain so you can see what's coming out. Could there be a in line check valve that's bad. Anyone have any experience with this?

You stated you can blow air into the one tank, and you can hear air bubbling, and no water backs up into the tube. This tells me there has to be a backflow preventer. It could be bad. Or you have a good pile of poop pyramid and paper over the outlet, and it has turned as hard as cement.

1st step, contact Jayco with your Vin number and ask for the plumbing diagram, and specify the issue with the black water flush. As I am not sure which schematic it will be shown on.

I would try an easy possible solution before tearing into everything. If the issue is a poop pyramid, adding water softener or fabric softener into the tank, and let it soak, ideally multiple days. The softener, breaks the water surface tension, allowing the water to penetrate the pyramid, softening it. If this is the issue, I suspect the water or air pressure in the hose will be able to break through, and the erode the poo away.

If that does not work, then you might have to get your hands dirty.

Question, after you dump your tanks, do you leave them dry or do you add some clean water back into the tanks?

For the black tank, you should refill with about 10% clean water after you dump. Always keep water in the tank, unless winterized. This helps keep poop pyramids from forming. Also make sure to use a lot of water when flushing. Some people dump their dish water down the toilet, just to add volume, while boondocking.

This is a new camper that's been out just once so I'm sure it not a build up. I agree with you about adding water after a dump, I always do. I also agree with you on making a call to Jayco, there very helpful except on the weekend,

Thanks
