Seneca wheel wells

While crawling around and under my new Seneca I found something odd in the wheel wells. The rear left wheel well has a rear mud flap but no protection in the front of the wheel well. The front of the right rear wheel well liner is chewed up. Is this what it is supposed to look like?

The rear mud flap on my truck looks like that. I believe what happened is that I was backing up and something pushed the mud flap up on the tire. If you look closely you'll see that the grooves of your tire match the grooves on the mud flap. All I can say is that it doesn't take much backing up to rub away the rubber of the mud flap.

Our 2014 37ts has on both sides front and rear. One side wore in front like pic shows and I discovered broken screws that held "flap" to support allowing wind to push it into tire when driving.

Same here

Our 2014 is the same way. Been meaning to replace them, but hasn't come up on the list yet. Looking to get some Freightliner flaps.

Thanks guys. These are the flaps in the front of the wheel well. I guess I can see how the wind would push them into the moving tire. I think I will call Jayco to see if they will send me some replacements.

Wheel well

Our dealer replaced ours under warranty and cut them off flush with the bottom of the storage compartment and added additional mounting screws

My 2017 37HJ has them on both front and back. However, as part of my rather adventurous break-in period (re: felt like a disaster every time we took it out) both the front mudflaps on the rear wheels fell of in flight. One of them did not come all the way off so proceeded to tear up the the storage door immediately in front of it. The end result was a warranty repair and new mud flaps.
