Shore cable

In cold weather it is a bear to put the cable back into the tiny cable storage area, so i had a 25' cable as a spare and i connected to existing cable thru entrance hole in storage area. Now all i need to do is disconnect cable from coach cable and go. Makes it a lot easier during winter if you want to take a ride and exercise the unit.

I've been thinking of doing this but read somewhere that you need to pull the cable out all the way and lay it out to keep it from overheating. What has y'alls experience been? Any overheating issues? If not, then I'm doing this too.

A coiled up or compactly stored cord will heat up under load causing the load to go up because the voltage will drop and the amperage will go even higher. Electrical connections will heat up and may fail, the worst result is a fire.
