Now you'll breath a sigh of relief for years to come. One of the best investments you and I have ever made.

Used our GH for a year without, and had them installed a month ago. Best mod so far!! Rain in our case....wet slides + non level ground= water in our coach when pulled in. Debris too can be a real pain. Well worth the $$!!

This is what I paid at the spring (this year) ....

Just let me say that I wish I hadn't procrastinated. Had I ordered and installed them in December, labor would have cost only $58. CW had a promotion all last year. Also, Domitec has 3 levels you can select. I ended up going with "Elite" as the wife wanted those metal covers to protect the material. That being said, here's the breakdown:

Labor: $351.00
Parts: $920.00 (Materials/Hardware black )
Shipping: 182.00
Tax: (California) 91.04

Total: 1545.94

In order to put the system on they have to remove my rain gutters that are over the slideouts. Other then that, It will take 7-10 days

Take care,

I'm getting a pair of Carefree awnings installed at the dealer for $747. Part of the concessions to get me in the 2015 Greyhawk.

I want them. But with 2 large slides and one small the cost is ridiculous.

YAH - Every camper I have ever had with slides has had them. I would not be without them. The material last 8-10 years. It's a good investment IMO.

Got mine this year. Love them ! Had to take down in the rain a few times. When I brought the slides in they were bone dry !

It depends on slide size, and how willing the dealer is to negotiate.

Mine were $1200 installed. Don't know the brand or model, but they look nice!

We ordered our unit with them on it, and just for the record it's cheaper that way.
We didn't have them on our old unit but I'm glad we've got them now.
I can't help but think they help with keeping the heat out also by shading the roof of the slide-outs, which we all know are not very insulated.
