Slide out awning

Hi. I have a 2013 jayco melbourne. The slide out has a rip in the awning section and leakes water into the rv. Looking for a DIY fix for this. Thank you do much for your suggestions..

Not quite understanding your problem. Not having a slide topper, should not create a leak.

However, do a Google Search "Replacing a RV slide topper" and it may give you some ideas.

This is curious. I have no toppers and even in continuous down pours have had no water migrating due the lack of toppers. Perhaps you have a damaged rubber seal?

One thing to mitigate the water leak is to slightly bias your level so water moves away from the body of the MH.
