Slide out rubber seals

Hi, I was examining my 2016 Grayhawk 31FS slide out rubber seals recently and I noticed chucks of rubber cut off at the corners. (see picture). Also the rubber seal at the top of one of the slides is about 3/8" above the slide so the rubber doesn't touch the slide. I'm guessing the water is penetrating the RV because the rubber isn't preventing rain from coming in. I'm thinking to replace the rubber, although I'm hopeful I can pull the rubber off at the top of the slide and remount it so it actually touches the slide out. Any suggestions?

Have the slide adjusted so all four sides come in evenly and all the way.
