Does anyone know what the 2016 greyhawks slide "roof" is topped with? Rubber, fiberglass, nothing? I read somewhere that some jayco slides had raw luan wood with paint? Is this true? ( I have a 2016 31FS on order ).
My 2015 Jayco has a rubber roof on the slide, just like the roof on the main body. I know that older campers had luan on the UNDERSIDE of the slide, the exposed porition beneath the slide. Again, my 2015 Jayco has some type of weatherproof membrane on the underside of the slide.

Sounds like a salesman's pitch who sells another brand. I've owned STARCRAFT/JAYCO units with slides since 1995 and they all have had rubber membrane roofs and water proof plastic underneath the floors.
