Slide Topper thread coming apart
On my main slide, the thread is coming apart and as such the fabric basically lost its "loop" to hold it in the slot/rod setup. This looks pretty simple to fix with sewing it, but has anyone done it by hand without having to take the entire topper off and taking the fabric to a sewing machine or to a seamstress? I am thinking of doing it by hand and just getting some curved needles and some V-92 UV resistant thread. Any reasons why this is a bad idea?
