Slide Toppers

Good Afternoon,

I am purchasing a 2014 Jayco GreyHawk 31FS, I am wanting to put slide toppers on the unit. Could anyone that has done this on this model give me a little information on the type and length they used. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2014 31FS, and I bought and installed two toppers from Shade Pro last summer. Shade Pro was great, and installation was straight forward. The lengths are in the descriptions.

You should check that the bolts, etc holding the slide out mechanisms together are still tight. I found a large bearing rolling loose on the floor under the jackknife couch when I was working on the flooring. This bearing had fallen off of the support for the driver side slideout. I reinstalled it and in checking there were two others that were about to fall out as well. There is a thread in here somewhere about it (about Sept 2020) but I will attach two images. These mounts are visible if you remove the toe kick around the base of the slideout. There should be just a few screws holding the toe kick in place. I used a long extension drive to retighten the loose bolts, if you find any. A word of caution: there are two bolts per side that hold white nylon bushings in place. These should NOT be tightened more than enough to be snug because they just keep the rails lined up. Too tight and they could cause binding.
