Slideout Leak... Start of our new problems

The list of challenges on our new Greyhawk continues to grow. We are in South Carolina this week and are experiencing some fairly significant storms. The positive is, we love all of the "hangout" space we have in our new MH.

The negative is we have discovered a couple of new issues. We found a leak under the fridge side slideout. It took us a while to discover, and temporarily repair the problem. The bottom 12" of the sweeper slide was not deploying outwards and therefore was allowing water to enter the cabin. We retracted and re-deployed the slide and this did not resolve the issue. In the end I had to pull the slide in 6 inches and manually push the sweeper seal out, then fully deploy the slide. This has fixed the leak.

This led me on a further inspection of the other slides. To my dismay I discovered major issues with the kitchen slide. It is not square in the opening. The bottom of the slide is so tight that the sweeper seal is pinched between the slide and the wall and will not deploy outwards. The top of the slide is so far out that the seal does not actually come in contact with the slide. This is a significant concern on this slide because there is no way to access this wall when the slide is pulled in so any moisture the sweeper misses will drip down and accumulate within the cabin.

We have notified our dealer of the issues... but 1800 miles from home we are stuck with these problems for now.
