Slideout problem

I have an '08 Melbourne 29D. The couch slideout has developed a problem and I am wondering if anyone else has had the same and, if so, how was it resolved.

Whenever the slide is operated, the black gasket rides in and out with it. It has gotten so bad that the gasket has come loose around most of the slide. I was told by Camping World that the fix required the slide being removed and some bracing be done to the floor since the floor is not riding properly on the rail assembly.

If this sounds familiar to you, please let me know what you did to get it fixed.

Thanks,
Pat

You need to put baby powder on the gaskets or buy slide out gasket lubricant.
