Slideout Topper Bracket Damage

Yep, it finally happened, pulling out of storage and I caught the barn pole with the back slide out topper bracket and ripped that sucker right off. So now the challenge is ordering another one. The slide out topper unrolls fine, I have to keep tension on the broken bracket side when pulling the slide in, but I would much rather have a new bracket.

The question is does anyone know what type of factory slide topper comes on a 2022 Greyhawk 29mv? I can't seem to find any information on it.

That worked great Grumpy! I was able to get the part number for the bracket and order same day for 2 day delivery.

In case anyone else is needing it was a Dometic part #9800018.402U.

Wow, a timely thread for me. Last week while parked in front of the sign at the Wakima, WA Elks I pulled forward and the rear slide topper bracket caught the sign. I was not quite so lucky. Because I was turning away from the sign, the spring mechanism raked along the rear portion of the gutter, bent it severely as I pulled forward, and deposited the mechanism on top of the hood of my F150 toad. OUCH!!

Due to a lack of resources and the bent/damaged gutter, I went ahead and cut the fabric to release the rest of slide topper. I just used the link from Grumpy's post to contact Jayco for a replacement topper. I hope I get a good response so I can get the rig repaired soon.

I might have a few reusable parts left in the pole barn after replacement should a need arise in the community.
