slideout topper spring

Hello

Anyone know how many turns it takes to load the spring on the slideout topper on our big slides. Having a problem with the topper retracting all the way when the weather cools down. Topper was replaced by me last summer and the material might be a little heaver. Thanks

What brand? It will vary based on which company made it and how deep the slide is. Best bet would be to call the company direct since the new ones come pre-loaded.

We had a similar issue on my parents 5th wheel. We just added 1 turn to it and that solved the issue. I would probably just go ahead and do that.
