Out of curiosity, and if you don't mind sharing, why are you getting rid of it?

I don't mind sharing at all. The smart car has worked well for me as a toad for a couple years, but I've always been watching for a Jeep, which are stupid expensive around here, even the rusty ones. I recently found an extraordinarily clean 2000 Wrangler Sahara. I've outfitted it to be towed, and our first trip will start next week.

Outstanding!!

I don't know if you can tell by my signature, but I'm a Jeep guy myself!

2015 Grand Cherokee
1994 Wrangler (YJ)

And I'm threatening to get DW a newer model JK or JL.

But you're right about them being STUPID expensive! And you know what they say, right? J-E-E-P=Just Empty Every Pocket!!

We recently towed our Jeep.
It was easy to pull behind our 2019 Grayhawk 29MV.
Our Jeep is highly modified, and because of those mods, I have to drop drive shafts to tow it.
We are looking for something else to tow rather than the Jeep.

When people talk about pulling toads, I get a kick out of hearing "It pulls so well you don't even know it's back there..."

Well, pulling the 1800 pound Smart car is really like that...

LOL!! Yeah, there's no doubt about it when either of my Jeeps are back there. The YJ is wiggling around like crazy (because Jeep) and the JGC is a bit of a pig (heavy). So yeah, I definitely KNOW they're there!
