New Orleans West KOA:
11129 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA 70123

It is about 12 minute Uber ride from the French Quarter... much better than driving your toad!

One says Seneca, one says Jayco on the front. Plus the angles are different. Still, pretty cool to have 2 side by side like that.

That is awesome

That is an awesome picture. Maybe the Super C is becoming more popular for all the reasons we enjoy them.

Actually... not identical. Ours is on the left... the neighbor on the right is in a 2015 TS that they had just purchased recently. They are pulling an enclosed trailer with their toad and future golf cart +other toys.

We had a few minutes to talk the next day as they were pulling out... they are not on the JOF, but I encouraged them to check this site out - if just for the great knowledge - I expect them to join soon.

and yes... will see ya next week or next - we pull out tomorrow!

And just so that you don't feel all alone, as I rode through your KOA (Davie/Ft. Laud) today, I met people with a 2014 Seneca same colors as yours and the spot next to them is open. What are the odds?

I bet pretty good... as they said they are totally full. They are the very last place in the Ft. L / Tampa area with a two week space open. They said I will have to park my 'toy-trailer' in a separate spot... but we are optimistic.

Today... we received a warm welcome to the Ft. Lauderdale (Davie) area right at our campsite... Mark S., It was nice meeting you and your DW.. both times today!

Yes... for the rest of you freezing in other parts... it is sandals and shorts weather!!!

Well.... We have been here for three nights.... and there has been some sort of a problem every night... We are not going to bash this place yet... but it is not warm and hospitable.

We should have read the Google reviews first.

It's been a few days since we have checked in on this thread... We are still hanging out in Mark S. 's home town in South FL. In fact he had us over tonight for a BBQ and we got to see his "Seneport" for his Seneca and the things he has done to it. Quite the setup he has for keeping their 37TS out of the rain and sun that is part of south Florida. Our kids had a great time roaming his yard and tormenting the neighbors while we swapped stories, destinations and past travels. Great New friends... thanks for the Hospitality!

It was my pleasure. And the great thing about this forum is you get a lot of very good usable info as well as making new friends. And not just new friends, but new friends that bring beer and ice cream. it really doesn't get too much better than that.
