sofa bed miserable to sleep on, Help

The jack-knife sofa bed in my 2006 Greyhawk is miserable for sleeping. I'm looking at the air pads in Amazon. Has anyone come up with a good solution to this problem?

We keep a 2 inch memory foam topper rolled up in our storage area. It makes a big difference.

We got our memory foam at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
