Nope... although I spent a few weeks working in SLO, and passing thru when traveling to Morro/Los Osos.

Root cause was likely 12v being exhausted. RV / TT / 5er uses 120vac or propane, but most everything is controlled by 12vdc.

I have noticed that some residential fridges and Furion 12vdc fridge sometimes have issues starting up, on 120vac grid environment. The commonality? Air conditioner was left on, and compressor start surge was enough to drop voltage in unit to point that the controllers for inverter compressor has gone offline.

Seriously??? What makes you think that? As a newbie, I certainly wouldn't know the difference.

E went to the FMCA convention in Tucson this spring and everyone was hooked into the commercial generators, about 12 or more on each one. It’s pretty standard at big events like that. We did have our Progressive EMS on it so no problems. It was parked outside our unit and made for wonderful white noise for sleep.

These big generators are designed to run for days/weeks without shutting down. They vary in size and can be connected to Spider Boxes that can connect multiple RV's at a time. We carry one of these pig-tail's for those special events that have these big Generators running!

Damn. My bad. I should have done that a long time ago.

Edit: Ok, I don't feel so bad. If it wasn't for that link, I would never have found it. I've only looked in my area of interest, Jayco Class C motorhomes. But I will keep it for future reference and stop asking these silly newbie questions.
